Here we go again. Tom Hanks is releasing a movie called Parkland, to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the assassination of John F. Kennedy. When I heard, I felt nausea.
A title like Parkland is self-explanatory. This movie is going to meticulosly record the blood and the gore of the Kennedy assassination without delving into the "WHY". To be sure, it will no doubt entertain the customary and meaningless, tit for tat duel where the intelligence of somebody like Bill Moyers is incidentally introduced, to be butchered by the overbearing arrogance of somebody like Bill O'Reilly who uses noise to drown out reason. And there you have it, another pablum-fed diet of Officialdumb, to keep the public as ignorant as they were before Parkland came along to destroy the expectations of a public who has been kept in the dark for a half century.
If the movie was called, The Grassy Knoll you could expect a serious inquiry into all the unanswered questions that must be entertained to find the truth, but you can rest assured, a movie called Parkland is pure, unadalterated, vulgar exploitation.
This is what you have to do, to overcome the planned exploitation. Boycott Parkland and get yourself a copy of the book, Preserving Their Legacy.
Mat Wilson did not write Preserving Their Legacy to exploit the 50th anniversary of the Kennedy assassination. He wrote it after a 32 year journey to unravel the mystery that surrounds the murder of a President who was both hated and beloved President.
If you watch Parkland you will be dumber than Forrest Gump. If you read Preserving Their Legacy all of your questions about the assassination of John F. Kennedy will be answered once and for all.
This is your opportunity to immunize yourself from all the propagandists who plan to exploit the 50th anniversary of the Kennedy assassination. Take it.
